My name is Allee Ellen and I am the self-contained special education teacher for grades K-2 at Phenix City Elementary School! I'm originally from Anniston, Alabama (a town between Birmingham and Atlanta on I-20). I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2013 with a Bachelors degree in elementary & special education. In 2017, I completed my Masters degree in Special Education. I have a certification to teach general education K-6, special education K-6, and Pre-K.
I began my teaching career in the Lee County School system as a resource teacher in 2014. In September 2015, I was blessed to get the opportunity to come to PCES to take over the self-contained classroom. I taught for three years at PCES in the 3rd-5th grade self contained classroom. In 2018, I took at job in the Chambers County School system as a resource teacher. I am now back with PCES as the K-2nd grade self-contained teacher. This is my sixth year in the classroom. I truly believe this is where I am meant to be!
If you read nothing else on this site, read and understand this: I BELIEVE IN YOU! I will stop at nothing to make sure your child is successful to the fullest extent in the classroom and socially. In our room, we work hard and we play hard! We will have a great year at PCES!
